Our fully online Trinity CertTESOL course offers a flexible, accessible path to teaching English as a foreign language without the need to travel. You’ll receive the same internationally recognized certification as our blended course, complete all training through our Moodle platform, and gain practical teaching experience with real students–no matter where you are in the world.

Step 1: Apply & Start Learning Online (Stage 1)

  1. Submit the application form

  2. Receive the pre-interview task via email and book an interview on Zoom

  3. Have a Zoom interview with one of our trainers

  4. Make a payment for either the online tutorial stage 1 only (USD 699) or the full course with a discounted price

Step 2: Explore TEFL Essentials in Online Learning

  1. Start your TEFL course online through our Moodle platform.

  2. Work through interactive modules on teaching English as a foreign language, lesson planning, and classroom management, guided by experienced Trinity CertTESOL trainers.

Step 3: Enroll in Stage 2 & Develop Your Teaching Skills in Live Online Classes

  1. When ready, make the Stage 2 payment (USD 899) and begin your observed teaching practice. 

  2. Gain hands-on experience through six fully online, 60-minute sessions with real students. We arrange the learners for you, so you can focus on developing your online teaching skills and confidence.

Step 4: Get Certified and Start Teaching Anywhere

  1. Complete your course unit assignments and participate in Trinity College London’s official online moderation. 

  2. Graduate with your internationally recognized Trinity CertTESOL TEFL certification.
