During your time with us you will have the opportunity to teach learners from young teens to adults. Trainees will learn to approach their lesson planning in the same professional way for all ages and will be able to present a variety of tasks and activities that can be used and adapted for all age groups and English abilities.
On the Trinity CertTESOL you will prepare and teach for at least 6 hours. You will observe experienced trainers in the classroom. There will be lesson planning guidance and detailed feedback and advice for each lesson that you teach.
As part of your learner profile you will also discover how to assess the needs of one individual student and prepare an effective lesson for that student.
Our teaching practice takes place in a variety of different school and learning environments. We visit High Schools, Colleges and office environments around our area. Your teaching development will take place in real schools and workplaces and you will experience them all. When you have completed your Trinity Cert TESOL course, you will be equipped and qualified to teach anywhere in the world and you will have experienced a variety of real classroom environments.
After completing the course we can advise you and help you find a suitable teaching position.
